Raspberry Iced Tea (with or without vodka)

Serves: 6+

Dietary Suitability: Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Vegetarian

The Verdict: Refreshing, cool and delicious. Just as good served as an iced tea as it is served as a cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 4 English Breakfast Tea Bags
  • ½ Cup Caster Sugar
  • 2 Cups Boiling Water
  • 6 Cups Iced Water
  • 1 Lemon, Juiced
  • 1 Lemon, Sliced Thinly
  • 150 – 200g Frozen Raspberries
  • 2 Cups of Ice
  • Cocktail Option – add approximately 8 – 10 shots of vodka

Method:

  1. Put boiling water into a heatproof jug, add sugar, stir to dissolve, add teabags and brew for 5 minutes
  2. Remove tea bags and chill
  3. Pour cooled tea into a large serving jug, stir in iced water, lemon juice and raspberries.
  4. Add ice and lemon.
  5. If making as a cocktail jug, add vodka.
  6. Serve immediately.

Store: Best served immediately

Freezes: N/A

Low Fat/KJ Option: Leave out the sugar or swap with stevia
