The Verdict: Refreshing, cool and delicious. Just as good served as an iced tea as it is served as a cocktail
Ingredients:
- 4 English Breakfast Tea Bags
- ½ Cup Caster Sugar
- 2 Cups Boiling Water
- 6 Cups Iced Water
- 1 Lemon, Juiced
- 1 Lemon, Sliced Thinly
- 150 – 200g Frozen Raspberries
- 2 Cups of Ice
- Cocktail Option – add approximately 8 – 10 shots of vodka
Method:
- Put boiling water into a heatproof jug, add sugar, stir to dissolve, add teabags and brew for 5 minutes
- Remove tea bags and chill
- Pour cooled tea into a large serving jug, stir in iced water, lemon juice and raspberries.
- Add ice and lemon.
- If making as a cocktail jug, add vodka.
- Serve immediately.
Store: Best served immediately
Freezes: N/A
Low Fat/KJ Option: Leave out the sugar or swap with stevia
